Lexi is 4!

How the time has flown! I can't believe Lexi is now 4 years old 😭 Her birthday party looked a little different this year, as we are so far away from family; nevertheless, we still had a few friends over and had a great time. She requested to have a Frozen birthday party, so we took her to party city and let her pick out her decorations.

Friends and family still sent their love and gifts even though they couldn't be here to celebrate Lexi in person.
Playing with one of her gifts-a water pen mat!

Not sure what this face is about, but she is cute 💓

My baby is no more! 😭

This post brings to mind some of the phrases from the song Some Things Never Change from Frozen 2.

"These days are precious, can't let them slip away
I can't freeze this moment, but I can still seize this day"

"Some things never change
Turn around in the time that's flown
Some things stay the same
Though the future remains unknown"

"Time's moving fast, it's true
Some things never change
And I'm holding on tight to you!"

Uncle Justin and Aunt Vita Visit

Matthew's brother Justin, and his wife Vita were able to come visit us for a short time over the New Year holiday. The girls absolutely adore them and couldn't wait for their visit. We had such a great time going to the park, taking hikes through the woods, going to the mall, and just hanging out in the back yard. Matthew and I were pretty invisible during their visit 🤣

One of the sensory gifts they bought Addi

One of Lexi's gifts was nail polish, and it's just the gift that keeps on giving 🤣

what a great uncle the girls have 😜

At the mall

After they left, the girls built this "car" and drove to their house! SO sweet! 😍
We are so thankful for Justin and Vita and can't wait to see them again!

Christmas

Christmas may be our favorite holiday of the year! We were so excited that Matthew's parents were able to come and be with us for Christmas! The girls were so used to going over to their house every weekend, so to not see them for several months in a row, was hard on them, and they didn't really understand...Needless to say this reunion was so special!💗

Watching Tinkerbell! Pawpaw is such a good sport watching all these girly kid movies

Clare is such a cutie 😍

The grandparents definitely enjoyed the girls going to town opening all their gifts Christmas morning!

As always, we're so sad to see our parents go, but hopefully it won't be that long before we can see everyone again!
