Our Big Move to North Carolina!

At the beginning of July we made the long trip from Schaumburg, Illinois to Garner, North Carolina. This ended up being close to a 17 hour trip with the girls. I am so thankful for my mother and brother who came to help us move because I couldn't have done this trip emotionally, nor physically without them.

The Lord really provided us with the perfect place to live for our current season of life. Our house is in a quiet neighborhood and has a large fenced-in back yard, which the girls are loving! We are backed up to woods, which have provided us with a nice view of wildlife this winter. We love seeing deer come up to the fence hunting for food and watching several squirrels climb and race through the trees! There is also a built-in tree house right behind our fence, which the girls love when Matthew takes them up there!

We have lived here for about 6 months now and are just enjoying it! We love exploring and finding fun places to enjoy!

A Look Into the Past Couple of Years!

I am back after taking a little hiatus while I went back to work for a year. A lot has happened since then that I want to sum up!

Addison had a 1st AND 2nd birthday, Lexi turned 3, AND we moved from Illinois to North Carolina. So we have definitely had a busy year!

Addison Wrigley was named after the Chicago Cubs, so of course we have to have a Cubs themed birthday party! I think Matthew enjoys decorating for this birthday party the mostπŸ˜‰ Here are some pictures of Addison's 1st birthday party!

A sweet lady at our church made Addison these adorable Cubs outfits for this special occasion!πŸ’—πŸ’™

We love our crazy Addison and thankful that we could celebrate with all our family and friends!

This just sums up her whole personality! πŸ˜›

Lexi was old enough this year to express to us what kind of birthday party she wanted! She decided she wanted a dino-party! Here are some highlights from her 3rd birthday!

Lexi helping Paw Paw Sherrick make the fossil cookies!

She loves Maw-Maw Bridgers' chocolate cake!

We love when my parents can make it for the girl's special days!

We had another Cubs themed birthday party this year! My dad couldn't make this party as he is in the middle of completing his Doctorate, but I'm so thankful my mom and sister still could! Here are some of my favorite highlights from her party!

She loved when everyone sang to her!

Her favorite play buddy! We miss Lincoln!

What a perfect ending to her special day! Thanks to Auntie Amber for hooking them up with this cool "cave!"
